“Artistic Expressions”

HAL’s Fall Show at the Boone County Public Library Mezzanine display area and sculpture cases
This annual HAL-sponsored art show will take entries on Thursday, October 2nd at the Boone County Library from 3:00–5:30PM. The art will then be up in the library for about a month. The show will be judged, with various categories and prize money awarded.
Delivery: Bring your art to the Boone County Library Mezzanine, Thursday, Oct. 2nd, 3:00 to 5:30 PM.
Media & Size: All works must be no smaller than 8 x 10 inches and created within the last 5 years. Art works must be original artworks, gallery ready with frames and wire hangers. All media is welcome: Acrylics, Oils, Gouache,Watercolor, Graphite, Pastels, Ink, Sculpture and Mixed Media.
Divisions: Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Mixed Media and Photography
If less than 3 entries in one category the artwork will be moved to a different category.
Fees:
HAL Members – 1st piece free, $10 each additional piece
Non-members – $15 per piece of 2 for $25
Payment MethodsCash or check only
Awards: $100 awarded to the best artwork in each division.
Sales: Work may be labeled Not for Sale (NFS). Sales will be worked out between the artist and the buyer. No commissions, no fees. To facilitate sales, artists should include their contact information on their works’ labels.
Take Down: All work must be picked up Thursday, Oct. 30th, 3:00-5:30 PM at BCL. Any work that is not picked up at that time will be held by HAL until other arrangements are made.
