Performance: Friday, December 5, 2008, 7pm

Everyone can use a good laugh. The Ozark Arts Council presented a performance of the community’s funniest youth on Friday, December 5, 2008 at 7pm in the Lyric Theater.

Six young performers began a workshop in October and met three times a week for eight weeks to learn the mechanics of comedy and the fundamentals of theater. They performed six 10-minute duets at their debut.

Participants were between the ages of 11-14 and included Katie Blessing, Sarah Brashers, Amanda Dees, Sophia Marks, Emily Morgan, and Anna Maria Prevatte.

The Ozark Arts Council believes that art engages young people and fosters creativity and self confidence which helps to build a strong, healthy community.
